2024 has been an exciting and busy year. We, along with our supporting organization, World Heritage USA, have:
- expanded our Young Professionals Network;
- facilitated twelve internships across five countries through the International Exchange Program;
- received an additional $1.5 million grant from the Mellon Foundation to support the implementation phase of the Monument Relocation, Removal, and Reinterpretation Toolkit program;
- supported the inscription of the 26th World Heritage Site in the United States, Moravian Church Settlements – Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; and
- will soon gather in Washington, DC for our Annual Symposium “Climate Change Impacts and Mitigation at U.S. World Heritage Sites” and our 14th Annual Celebration of World Heritage.
In 2025, with your support, we will continue to promote the conservation of world heritage and strengthen U.S. connections to the global heritage community through advocacy, education, and the international exchange of people and ideas.
An ICOMOS-USA International Membership includes many benefits, including free or reduced admission to heritage sites and museums worldwide, the chance to participate in ICOMOS International Scientific Committees, reduced registration fees to our events, and much more.
