Two new staff members joined World Heritage USA/ICOMOS USA in August. Please help us welcome:
Kelsey Tabela-Baxter, Development Coordinator
Kelsey Tabela-Baxter, a Rhode Island native, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhode Island College, majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Environmental Science. She has a diverse background in fundraising, having held various positions, including Director of Special Events and Annual Giving. Currently, Kelsey serves as the Assistant Director of Donor Relations at Providence College. She is passionate about the preservation of the world’s cultural heritage and dedicates her spare time to reading and practicing yoga. Kelsey will split her time between development work for World Heritage USA and Providence College.
Michelle Wilson, Events Coordinator
Michelle joins the World Heritage USA team as an Events Coordinator. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio and is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, where she also worked for 12 years. Event planning for nonprofit organizations has been a focus for the majority of her professional experience. Michelle’s free time is spent boating, traveling, and enjoying time with family.
Kelsey and Michelle will each work part-time and remotely from their homes in Ohio and Rhode Island. They each fill key roles in the longterm health of our organization and we’re looking forward to working with them!
