On May 31, 2024, Thomas Cassidy, ICOMOS-USA Advocacy Chair, submitted testimony to the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs regarding Fiscal Year 2025 Appropriations to the Department of State. In this testimony, Mr. Cassidy on behalf of ICOMOS-USA encourages payment of our nation’s voluntary contribution to the World Heritage fund, which has not been paid since 2011.
